my baby is attached to her dad more than me...I feel very neglected and insecure. I try to play with her a lot,but as my husband has a night shift,he gets more time to play with her than me as I have a dayshift..my daughter is 6 months old only and always wants her father and cries if she doesnt find him.

At present she is too small and can get attatched to anyone who give her the maximun time and attention. Give her some time. Let her grow upa little and then see the difference. the same story goes here. My 16 month old son is more attached to his dad since hes got a night shift and i ve a morning shift. at night he will stand in the balcony and call out ba--ba ba--ba.
Theres no need to panic and feel insecure. shes is your daughter and will grow up to be your friend. Since she is close to her dad, it a good sign that they will have a good rapport. its a matter of time. she will also miss you while you at the office.
let her grow a little, she will be close to you also.
