Soni,
Your problem is major in a way but not that major if looked seriously.

I sound more confusing than resolving it, don't I!

You are a hyperthyroidism patient and it's likely that with excellent fertility of your spouse you may conceive even without treatments, failing to conceive for 7 months is not a concern to bring to infertility Dr. But if you conceived your hyperthyroidism condition puts you in high risk of miscarriage not only in first triemster but even in second trimester. Your symptoms of palpitation, hot flashes, tiredness and facing abnormal feelings in climate are perfectly agreeable to thyroid problem and yes is a one of the infertility trouble.

To overcome miscarriage risk and also to boost your chances of conception you need to get on to treatment for hyperthyroidism, which is available and you will be directed/advised by an endocrinologist, may be your tsh levels will be monitored each 4-6 weeks to keep track of them.

I am sure today your periods are not consistant with flow, sometime scanty flow sometime heavy also they might be irregular too. This treatment will get your thyroid function normal and maintain cycles in control, help choosing days while ttc:-)

You will need to see endocrinologist during ttc period, pregnancy and until you wean your baby.

Do make an appointment with Endocrinologist, I am sure your General Practice Dr. will have made a referral already. This is the way medical practice work in USA too.

soni,
lets not worry for antibodies as they would not have that much impact on your conception and pregnancy. Lets see how your tsh values stay. If they stay steady then you may be monitored close and allowed ttc.
Antibody treatment is not a major problem for you, you may or may not need it for life. once you have baby and decide on to stop to have more babies then you may choose to continue with antibody treatment or not.

Hi,
I'm sure you will be able to conceive after the treatment..but just to let you know that after a year of trying by yourselves if you happen to be unable to get pregnant then see an infertility specialist..this is my suggession to everybody..Dont waste time with your gynic for too long.Definitely gyincs might be good to evaluate the problem but an infertilty specialist would moniter closely..
Hope this helps..
