Dinki,

Do not worry. i had Poly cysts and i was asked to do ovarian drilling, to remove the cysts through laprascopy. Basically, i'm scared of injections, dead scared of it. you can point a gun at me, i can handle the situation, not the injection. I have fainted all the times, whenever i had gone for blood tests. I'm 32 yrs old and we were trying for baby for 3 yrs now. At every stage, i tried different options, which were not invasive, finally my doc, advised me to go for laprascopy. I took two months to do mental preparation to take the operation and i have taken it successfully. I had in Bangalore. I was admitted in hospital for 2 two days. God only knows, from where i got the courage to undergo this. I do not know myself, how it happen. The procedure is very simple and less/neglible pain. During this, apart from removing the cyst, they also diagnose whether anything else is wrong. Puncturing or removing the cyst, increases ur probability of getting pregrant. Do not lose courage. Think, it is going to help you immensely and take the procedure. I pray for your success.

I had one too dear, yep i was scared exactly like you,but it goes off in 3 to 4 months time on its own.
You don't have to worry, and everytime i used to get a slight pain i would freak out and also freak my hubby. But my doc too had suggested the same thing that all our friends here have suggested and you are going to be one healthy girl after all this.So take it easy, its easier said than done i know, but you are going to be just fine.Hey and no more crying ok!!
There you go.
All the best.

Hi,
I did get my cyst removed on the left ovary too..
Well here are the details that you need to be aware of..
What kind of cyst is it?(There are different kinds of cysts)
Most of the cysts get resolved by themselves after a month or two so why did your doctor wants to do laprascopy? how long you have this cyst. And how big is the cyst?

hi,

hey nowadays cyst is removed with just laprascopy. Laprascopy is painless outpatient surgery. I had that surgery. It is a good diagnosing surgery. Most of them have undergone that. If it makes u better, my relative was not conceiving when she went to a dcotor she was diagnosed with cyst. They did laprascopy she conceived the next cycle itself. There is absolutely nothing to worry, it is good that root problem is discovered. U will conceive now very sooon. Have positive thoughts:)

hi dinki,

Pls. try not having any negative thoughts in mind!!

Baby, its only a cyst and there nothing much ado about it. Sometimes cysts will ward off by its own self. Let this not be the be all and end all of any situation.

Pls. stay positive and listen to what your doctor tells u. Laproscopy is no big a deal. Go ahead might b b4 that itself u wud b pregnant. Gods seeing all of us in pain and he will not make us suffer much, remember that!!

All the best and pls. keep in touch. Feel free to write to us whenever u r feeling low. But dnt make this board ur usual habit. I hv just got rid of this and i dont much write on this board. I do read it time and again but dont much write. When i read u, i cudnt hold my heart, so here i am writing to u!!!!

Luv
