hi Hetal

Hope u n Neerja r doing fine. When r u due? All has been fine wid Sanah except that recently she has stopped eating her aalloo parantha which was the only roti she liked to eat. instead she likes to eat Kachha atta. and she manages to get it whenever we r making roti... Or now even she opens up refrigerator also to get it. Though we giv her not more than a pinch but she really enjoys eating every bit of it and is smart enough to refuse to even nicely mashed roti that wud loook like atta dough

hey there,,how are you ! good to see you after a long long time ! m due on feb 14th !!! nirja is fine too, thank you !
how did she endup tastng the raw aata ?? did you offer her once !
nevermind, now that she is after it,,
can you blend the atta in the food that she hates !! the taste in itself will make her run away from it ...
see if that works !!!!
make the atta when she is not around,,and at the same time,,see if you make her play with that atta, instead of eating it..like making diff shapes and funny faces on it,,give her cookie cutters and let cut the dough in diff shapes,,divert her to playtime,,everytime she is about to put the dough in her mouth,,put some other food in her mouth ;) make it an unsuccessful attempt ! or just divert her,,hey look at this,,take the dough gently from her hand,,and make some ball or something with rotimaker and make her do that !!
also, roast the atta, add in some ghee and jaggery, add in some boiled or dried nuts powder(check on allergies),,and make it just like dough,,its a healthy treat,,you can give her one ball everyday to eat it herself ! since its made of roasted atta, which tastes almost like raw atta, she will accept it, at the same time, good things will go in her stomach ! all this only if your child is above 1 year !
my daughter wanted to catch the bubbles from the boiling dal ! i got her bubble maker,,she keeps playing next to my stove...and she tries to competes with boiling dal !! to stop her doing that, everytime she ws about to catch the boiling bubbles of dal,,i will give her spoon and make her stir gently...she has learned her first kitchen lesson ! to stir...
every weekend, when i make cakes or treat,,she stirs it for mommy !!
so good luck to you,,,hope it works out with your dd !
take care.
