I know this is bit off. the track question but i think may be you can guide me on this archie. My mom is 50+ when she was in menopause she had lot of bleeding and mood swings and everything this was about 5 yrs back. Now she does not get her menses but her hemoglobin is very very low which creates weakness its just 7. is this something to do with gynac problem. shall i get her checked if so what should i check to find whats going wrong she very active but these days there is tremendous weakness which makes her very irritating person to be around. can you pl. help know what is happening her legs are swollen too she hardly eats anything during the day but her weight is 90+ this makes her very depressed i guess i want to help her but dont know how and where should i start. She should be seeing a gynecologist. She might have thyroid disfunction or another hormonal imbalance, which is normal at and after menopause. Even without reading your last sentences I was suspecting her to be overweight and fluid retension case. She would be better off after medical intervension, check her glucose levels as well, there is a possibility for diabetes along with gynecological hormonal imbalance.
