Hi Archie,
Need your advice. I had my 3 IUI last cycle i got my periods on 1 july.
I wanted to know the tests that shud be carried out before an IUI is done. Meaning blood test? or some test to know the hormones level after IUI.?
Also if i am ovulating (my means of injectibles) on CD 14 and getting my periods on day 30-31 does it mean my hormones level are right?
I read many times abt folic acid, is it advicable with injectibles? How much qty shud be taken and should those tablets be taken everyday?

I know i have asked too many questions! but i am just so confused. I am giving a break this month from IUI, just want to relax for sometime.

if your IUI trials were due to failure to conceive by natural methods then your Dr. must know your hormones status (through blood work) and also semen analysis for your spouse must have accomplished. If not then get on this work before getting on IUI, could be expensive but would figure out what's best treatment.

you should have had OPK, blood test to know LH amounts before injections. One must know how close you are from ovulation. The whole success of IUI relies on this fact.

u can take folic acid daily it is just a vitamin tablet. I took it when i had mu IUI. There are no issues with take one tablet daily it is just vitamin tablet.
