Hi Archie, hope you remember me.I am due in feb but since i ddin't see you there I thought i will post my query here.Sorry for the inconvinience. My question is as of now i am 8wks and 5days.During the first scan around 6wk4days My RE saw only one fetus with a heartbeat and yesterday i had been for the second scan i.e.8thwk We had a really big surprise that I am carrrying Twins! But the thing is the fetus B's sac is smaller than the Fetus A.My doc was concernend about that and he told me that nothing can be said defifte for now. What does that mean? Do you have any idea? But growth wise the Fetus Ais 8wks4days and the Fetus Bis 8wks 2days.Both are having healthy heartbeats. My question is is this normal in a twin pregnancy or is it suppose to mean that since fetus B has a smaller sac than fetus A will it cause any problem? Any idea? Thanks for the clarification.

LK,
It's too early to comment on differential twins growth. they both are growing OK and you should not worry today.
Lets see what happens on 20th week and thereonward we can see if there is anything concerning, now it looks normal.

yes, twins can be of different size, incredibly.
