Am Pria and am new to this site..I just have a doubt..I have PCOS and my gyn has prescribed Letroz tabs. When I googled for it, it said thsi tab is mainly for treating breast cancer and is being falsely promoted for ovulation induction. Has anyone out here know anything abt this tab and has anyone taken this tab? I wana know if it's harmful.

Hi All,
I am new to this site as well. I am aslo suffering from PCO and my gynic has suggested Letroz. Wanted to take opinion. I feel so frustrated in life as the comments from the inlaws side are incorrigible. Just thought I ll take views from all. I have been trying to concive for 2 years now with no result

I have also been adviced to take letroz by my gynaecologist. Have you used it? Do you have a baby now?

Seeing as Karish has put most of your fears to rest, i just have a few words of unsaked for but friendly advice :).
Don't panic.
Don't stress.
Don't make having a baby the be all and end all of life.
Don't get addicted to this board..

I know I may sound rude and dreadfully sad to you... but though this board is filled with lovely people. I mean truly lovely people.. seeing all those blue faces can often make u depressed and even more stressed. and, sweetie, I only speak from personal experience.
Just relax. Chillout, and take life as it comes.

true to name you sound so positive.i am glad to be on this site.after a missed abortion about a year back, without any medication, i am still trying to get pregnant.i am above 35.i started treatment about six month back, i was given spiene ,now the docter has prescribed letroz. iam so depressed and stress out.wish me luck.

hate to say this but welcome to this board.

Me too hvng PCOS and my previous doc had prescribed letroz. and when i queried on google i got the same answer and i was dumbstruck.

Dont worry dear, this medicine is for the treatment of PCOS only. So dont fret. its a right medicine.

Go ahead and hoping that u leave this board as soon as the way u entered this site!! I used to be a frequent visitor to this site but now am refraining from writing much as i was becoming an addict to this. but i keep reading the tabloid mostly everyday but dont much answer here.

Thats about that.........
