I have been trying to conceive since past 1 yr. I am 25yrs old and my husband is 30 yrs old.i have decided to go to doctor, so please tell me what all tests should i go for. Last year i had been to a doctor, she did an ultrasound and told me that everything is fine. till recently every month my periods were getting delayed by 10-14 days . So my period cycle became 40 days. since last two months again back to 30 days cycle.I am taking folic acid tablet daily which is available over the counter.Am mainitaining a healthy diet and my height/weight ratio is normal.i dont know whats happening. So I request you all to please kindly advise me the further step.

you do qualify to test for fertility. But I think you are suffering due to inability to find a correct ovulation day. Also may be frequency of intercourse, either once 24 hours for each cycle and or very rare, either are not going to be helpful if your spouse has a little isssue with sperm quality or quantitiy.

If you are in USA, can you try to use oPK for next 2-3 cycles, for irregular cycle it's bliss. start from 12th day of cycle and test until you get positive OPK, try this way for two cycles at least. Remember not to intercourse before you get positive OPK and also intercourse once 24 hours for 3-4 days from positive OPK and abstain from the same until you get period or confirm pregnancy.

I think it will fall on right side for you with OPK.
