For a one yr. old baby while travelling U can give him fruits like banana, apple(apple pulp take out with a help of sharp spoon, or boiled, mashed apple, boiled mashed potato, sweet daliya and a very handy and nutritious diet will be cerelac.

for a one year old you should carry semi solids in a small container like Kichdi if the journey is not too long. Keep some glucose biscuits handy as they can always be dipped in milk and given as instant food if everything else goes wrong. Even fruits like mashed banana which is readily avilable everywhere
