Hi ALL,

We stay abroad, Sometimes i hate cleaning house, u know it is a tiring job... brooming, mopping and washing toilets.
But i know i have to do it anyways....
For this nowadays i feel my house to be a small one u know a single bedroom house...
Being a NRI for 2 yrs i felt so bad cleaning this 3 bedroom house every week... i hate that... but what to do
it is my home anyway! i sometimes dream of a small house where all things are atleast to my reach so easily so that i need now walk all day to clean up the mess...
especailly i get angry when my husband puts his coffee cups under sofa and bed, and i keep walking all day to pick up the things he hides :)
not only he puts cups alone also books lot of papers like bills... list goes on and on. atleast for this reason i need a small house na?
NRI friends what do u feel?
and any easy tips for cleaning big house??
or u also dream to get a smaller one:)

I stay in woodlands. I do not have any maid and i didn' t have one earlier when i was working. I used to manage all alone both home and work though it was very hectic and tiring job.

I assume you do not have any kids but once you have them your workload will be increasing as i am experiencing now. I sometime can' t even get time for myself.

Do not worry, Once you get used to your routine you would say \" Hey i want a big private house\" :)

If you feel very much stressed out doing house work. You can hire a maid who comes once or twice a week for 2 - 3 hours depending on your need. But they charge $10-15 per hour. You can google for \" maid agency in singapore there you can get information about part time maid.

I am living in a villa and I don' t feel anything to grumble!!!!

Try to construct one room with WC on one corner, kitchen on the other corner. Don' t use bed, keep some clothes to lay on the floor when you want to sleep.

I think you are living in Singapore. Am I right?? Anyway... prioritize your work and do it accordingly. You no need to mop everyday... you can do it once in 2 days right. In that way you can make your life easy.
