Today I had my second bloodwork the HCG=986 and Progestrone=40.My concern is the HCG is supposed to double but it is lesser.And the progestrone level also remains the same.Is it OK?And one more thing i have occassionally a light pink spot may be twice today after the toilet.Will this be any concern? Otherwise i am taking the prometrium and aspirin as per directed and also taking lots of fluids.Thanks again.

LK,
Your hCG levels are not doubled but seems on rise. For some it takes 48-72 hours to double the hCG value. If you know the sampling of two blood was spaced less than above mentioned time then it should be alright otherwise your OB will suggest a repeat of hCG levels in another 48 hours or so.

pinkish to brown spotting is normal in first trimester. Take good amount of bed rest and drink at least 10 glasses of water per day.
