I am assuming you are talking about bottle with formula.
Not recommended at all to feed it in sleep. There is fear of chocking.

As for breastfeed, babies mostly fall asleep while feeding, it gradually slows down as they enter deeper sleep and finally they stop it. so let the baby go the natural way in this case.

If your baby is not feeding breastmilk anough and falling asleep before that, and waking up crying again, please talk to your doc or consult Hetal on this board.
