Hi Roops,
Regarding folic acid, it does not \";help as such\"; in getting pregnant, but helps preventing any neural birth defects in the baby after conception.
Folic acid takes 3 to 6 months to build and store in the body, so its important to take the 400 MG tablet a day even before you know that you are pregnant. There are no side effects of this. You can start any day.
You can get Foilc acid in walmert too, over the counter in Vitamin section. Its not at all expensive and one tablet can be taken after meal every day.
Good luck,
Roshni

Hi Roops, to buy folic acid, you don't require a prescription. Its like buying a bottle of Tylenol etc.
I am not sure about Watsons, but you can try in Walmart or in any other Pharmacy like CVS/Rite Aid/Wallgreens etc.
Its an over the counter drug. Make sure you pick up 400 MG ones. If any doubt you can just ask the person on the pharmacy counter.
Hope this helps.
