my son is 21 months old and he likes sweets
very much.previously he use to eat somewhat spicy things but now he eats only sweet food or drink milk.he is having constipation problem also is it because of eating sweets too much?his diet is also reduced and he is
underweight pls suggest me what shuld i do.i am very much worried?he refuses to eat anything else.
i think eating more sweet is not good for his health?what shuld i do to increase his diet? Sanahita replied. Hi
He most certainly doesnt eat anything else because he gets to eat sweet. Try stopping or cutting down with his sweet and u will see he will eat what we eat.Eating too much sweet causes constipation too. Be strict with him regarding this habit. Stop getting sweets in the house and stop offering him sweets. Kids cant go hungry for a long time and will finally eat what u give him. You have to be strong here. Its very easy to give in to that sweet smile which comes from your child when u hand down a chocalte to him. :)

ya i heard that too much of sugar can lead to constipation. I dnt think u can stop any child from doing what they want to eat or do. BUt I think u can reduce.. instead of sugar use sweetpotato in his food or brown sugar (gud in hindi). Gud is really good for health n u can also use crystalized sugar( mishri).
