hi everyone,
This is for all those in the \";unexplained category\";.I was a part of it also from past 5-6 yrs.. it has been a long struggle for us becoz physically tested out all the tests came back normal for both my husband & me..anyway to make a v long story short we had 4 IUI & 6 IVF failures which were like \";picture perfect \"; cycles with age on our side .Drs recommeded us to try for donor egg/sperm or surrogate which we were not ready to do becoz at the back of our minds we knew we didnt have a problem plus donor stuff is hard & surrogate vv expensive sply in usa..but we didnt give up did research on our own & we came to know about immune issues & that was our problem.. my husband & I even though we r not related we share the same gene which was not protecting my baby & thats why we had implatation failure everytime.so we found this wonderful dr & now i'm pregnant (still nervous about the pregnancy)after getting treated by him.So for all those people like us who r still looking for answers I suggest u get this checked out if u havent done so..

first of all I want to thank each & everyone of you who wished me well..I wish the same for you all.
As for my tests..they were LAD ie my husband & I share the same DQ Alpha match gene so we had to get LIT done.. then NK cells natural killer cells in my uterus which was killing my baby..then i had to take folic acid..plus ANA,APA all these ..u need to talk to ur RE about all these tests.I dont know whether they do it in india.. I know malpani told us he doesnt believe in LIT but thats what worked for us..It has 85%chance of success..It is where they take ur husbands blood & process it & give the WBC's to the wife in a form of injection..
anyway talk to ur RE's about these things if ur in unexplained category..

chaitanya replied. I have unexplained infertility problem, we went throw immune system check too..but coldn't find anything wrong..but what kind of treatment you took? and where?..i have done two ivfs, failed with out any reason.. gayathri replied. congrats to you. have a safe pregancy.

Congratulations on becoming a mom!!! Hope everythg works out well for you.
As far as the immune tests are concerned. Are you by any chance talking about Rubella Antibodies Blood test? Coz that is the only one I have heard which detects any kind of antibodies in the immune system. If there are any other tests too besides this one, would really appreciate if you could throw some light on it. Many thanks for the info...
