Hello Everybody,

I'm new to this site and trying to concieve since more than 2 years..I went to doctor to know if evrything is oK with me, they said I'm completely normal..Main problem is my periods are very ireegular like 40-60 days,mostly 45 days long,due to which I'm unable to predict my ovulation even with help of Ovulation Kits..
I've gone through all check ups & everything was quite normal..Only test remaining is to check if there is any fallopian tubes blochage..
Meanwhile I'm charting through fertility friend also..
Can any of you plz. suggest what else can I do to increase my chances of conception..
Plz. let me know if you need any more information about..

I also am in the same situation. Perids come once in 50/60 days. Have not started treatment as yet. Which Dr r u going to? S M replied. I have been trying for the past 1 yr ,its really good that you are normal weight.

Had gone for check up myself and went thru all the tests but had to wait for long for my appts and by the time the results came for further treatment analysis(at the final appt it was found that both my hubby and I were normal)had to leave to a new a place.

I have been exercising and 2 docs asked me to get back to my ideal weight .

Sometimes the wait seems just too long.

Right now in a very indecisive state of mind ,for the past 3 months after we came to this new location thought we'd try it on our own.We don't know if we are gonna be here or go back to India so don't want to do any laproscopy with any doctor till we get to know where exactly we are gonna be.Or we'll have to go thru that all over again.

I am also tired of the waiting game,everyone around me seems to be having a baby but me.I am also tired of the bbt charts and timing everything so going to take a break for a couple of months.

But I will be lurking around anyway.

Take care dear. S M replied. I am also in the same boat.I went to my RE and went thru all the tests excepting laproscopy,coz had to leave the place b4 further treatment.

It will be good to go thru the tests and do the needful as raveena has said.

From my tests came to know that both of us are normal.


Not to offend you or anything ,is your weight in the normal range,if not maybe if you try to get back to your ideal weight it might get your periods back to 28-35 days.It is kind of working for me.

it s better if u go thru all testing .
hormonal checkup ie FSH,LH ,prolactin,TSH,FBS.
hysterosalpingography ie HSG diagnostic testing for patency of fallopian tubes.
do not delay.i am saying from my personal experience.
u should find the cause and treat as well.
later on u may have to go for laparoscopy with hysterosopy.what is your dr s plan.how is he going to proceed.
