Hi archie, i read the msg you have posted to curious cat.i have a question after ovilation, when you are trying to conceive, i heard from others you should do continues excercise like jogging , walking, skipping(recommended by obgyn), so that uterus will get blood supply.but i saw in your msg we are not suppose to do that..i mean exercise ..and i understood we are suppose to be slow.i am confused.i have faith in you, and your knowledge, please don't misunderstand me questionong you.can you clear my doubt?thanks.

Rupali,
Remember also the word of Curious Cat, she referred not only to aerobics but Serious workout.
In fact both these words are pretty much loose in sense. Also had to gather information about the case as to she is trying from 3 years and no success.

Some and always mild exercise is fine, jogging perhaps is not that bad but I prefer brisk walk to recommend. Skipping is next to jogging. Unless one's body is used to do these exercise on regular basis one can't make judgement to recommend to continue or to put a halt on them.

If you have routine that includes typical household chores you perhaps won't need additional workout in gym. That will keep blood flow and uterus needs on demand.

I usually allow exercise such as treadmill walk and long walks in second trimester, not during luteal phase or first trimester.

It perhaps has no statistical support but observed in a few friends case that avoiding exercise and heavy duty work in luteal phase led to success of their ttc.

good luck
Archie
