Congrats on having twins. This is amazing. It gives me some hope.
So you were on Clomid for the 3rd cycle and you got pregnant. Do you have any history of twins in your family? Wondering whether clomid was the reason for conceiving twins. Congrats sweetie ! Its double the joy!.
My doctor also told me that the RE whom I am going to see for the 1st time in 2 weeks, may prescibe clomid for me to improve quality of egg and hormones thus resulting in a viable pregnancy. She also said the chance of having multiples increases when using Clomid. So I am hopeful now. After hearing your story it ...it gives me hope. Clomid can help and maybe will help me too.

i have no history of twins in my family. i suspect its purely the work of clomid. however my doc says there is an 8% chance of a couple conceiving twins on clomid and that there is a 6% chance of a couple conceiving twins naturally as an act of nature. so i can never be sure. but yes, if they are non identical, chances are its bcoz of clomid bcoz clomid causes superovulation. if they are identical, it can be an act of nature.
