2pm - all types of veggies smashed, rice, ghee and sambhar what we use.
6pm - milk with date syrup or banana or cheese slice
9.30pm - rice with boiled and smashed apple, cashewnut, pista and raisins.

Please advice me as she cribs toooo much to eat anything and it takes hours together to feed her and she doesnt like to eat anything new .She doesnt have any favourite food at all.

8am as soon as she gets up - 1 cup of horlicks say around 7oz === no comments...

10am - fragi porridge from silver spoon
she sleeps after after 3 hrs say === no comments....try to add in soups here, if at all you think she is feeling less interested in lunch meals,,give raagi alternately,,if thats the case,,however, i will not force you to cut on raagi,,its a good food and great to give ! but offering other alternatives is the key as well...add in some roasted or cooked dryfruits in your porridge...

2pm - all types of veggies smashed, rice, ghee and sambhar what we use. ==== liked that she eats what you eat :)....try offering her wheat/wheat products or something like cracked wheat and moong dal,,with lots of vegies,,its nutritious and easy cooker meal,,if nothing,,just whistle this.

6pm - milk with date syrup or banana or cheese slice ==== no comments,,,make sure the date syrup is safe for toddlers and doesnt contain corn syrup or high frutcose syrup...try to replace this part with ne fruit juice,,and try to offer this milk feed before sleep,,a warm glass of milk is better to give before a good night sleep,,it will not only regulate her bowels but also will make her feel contended thru out the night,,and addins,,she wil develop a good habit and a good health...also, offer this milk feed if possible with 1/4th tsp of cardamom pwder in around 6-7oz of milk,,to give a good apetite in long run ! if she doesnt accept it,,you can try putting a namesake amt of cardamom,,a lil too is better than nothing,,,alongwith horlicks...although, check on her sleep times,,if she sleeps after 1 hour of dinner, thn i will not force you to give her milk,,,hp you get the point on wht m trying to say...

9.30pm - rice with boiled and smashed apple, cashewnut, pista and raisins.=== thats a fruit khichadi,,add in some lentils like massoordal, moong dal, chana dal, toor dal,,,let it be a complete meal,,alternately,,use vegies or fruits,,whatever fits,,,add in pears,,and apricots to your recipe and give it a try,,with banana, pear and apricots are like buddies,,add in some cardamom to add in a good taste...good to go..

cribbing is part of childhood and upto 24months nothing much can be done about it,,,try to play with textures, recipes, fruits, vegies,,finger foods,or flvaours and see what your baby likes and accepts..at the same time,,dont line out the likes and dislikes and stop offering the foods she didnt like,,even we dont like to eat a particular food acc to our moods,,just the same goes with babies,,so considering that,,offer the same food again and again after a couple days,,and check for his acceptance...

her meal timings looks good to me,,at 21month,,consideringg that the foods like raagi(made in ghee i assume),,and the fruit khichadi,,is heavy part and so is the cheese slice,,,but at the same time give her a good activity play time 5mins after settling from meals,,,to ensure that her apetite digest these well..add in badam and walnuts, instead of cashews,,however all are ok,,but badam and walnuts r better than cashews in nutritional point of view.
try giving her meals when the whole family eats and see if she takes it,,she might stare in your plates,,whenever so,,just give a bite from your plate, see if she accepts that..what is her weight, birthweight,,
m fine,,rest nothing else i see at this age,,babies are born to fuss,,just keep trying with diff textures, flavours with the existing recipes that she accepts like a lil twist in it with some added flavours or some variations in the same recipe,,,see if she likes and then slowly change the whole recipe...
respect your baby preferences, and try to graduate her to lumpier and finger foods,,,great ideas just below your post in diff post,,please look into it...your baby is older than theirs so a benefit for you that you can offer that plus other spices and dry fruits !!!
check for ne allergies.rashes/discomfort/stomach upsets caused by ne dry fruits you introduced or ne other new foods...introduce one by one, go slow not only by quantity but by total feeds,,,whenever there is case of introduction to give a smooth transition,,

good luck.

Hetal,

Thank you very much for your advice. She is a preterm baby born at 32 weeks ,her birth weigght was 1.59 kg. Now she is sort of ok weight.

Am sure will follow your steps. At night she sleeps as soon as she eats her dinner so I cant do much on that but will defnitely follow what you have told.

Thanks
Rekha
