Hi all

I have a 5+ month old baby ... ..:) she is feeling hell lot of itching in her gums.. and she try to put everything in her mouth ... (this must be the time for her to have her first teeth ??) Is there anything we can do to comfort her as because of this she sometimes seem to be very irritated. We're already applying \";Dentonix\"; gel on her gums as prescribed by doctor... is there anything special we can give as food to help her?

Thanks Hetal replied. give your baby cold teethers,,teething biscuits(if in US),,cool pieces of vegetables like carrots,lauki, give it raw,,let her just keep sucking it,,,baby 5months old dont know much to bite so hardly there is ne chance of biting and eating them,,,just make sure the piece is long, but at the same time thick enough that he cant break it or result in choking hazard...
the best is cooling pure water teethers,,they are excellent,,
other than that, whatever your dr gave will be best that will work,,
there are good variety of teething cloth books available,,learning and teething makes it fun !! also, rattling teethers are great handy !
