Hi all

honestly what is so wrong if ur lil one watches tv while eating ? check out the poor moms on other message boards whose kid just wont eat!! I have a 18 month old and he loves to watch humtum CD while he eats - the rest of the day he plays around and does not insist on it - u know a child likes to have certainties and some habits that are a a part of routine. let them have their little luxuries - let me see you get your mom-in-law off those sas-bahu serials !!LOL!!

Please don't get me wrong for saying this.kids like to imitate their parents so if one of parents are doing the samething ie watching Tv while eating then they will also learn the same.Stop watching TV yourself and never turn it on during meal times. It may be difficult initially , but they'll get used to it.Be consistent with it and don't give in if they cry.

Speech/language delay - 2.3 yr old boy
Hello Everyone

Our 28 months old boy is not speaking simple 2 or 3 word sentences yet. He speaks a few words such as mama, papa, aunty etc but definitely not more than 10. Also, he doesn't understand slightly longer sentences, even when we speak slowly and enact it such as "we'll go out after we eat". Otherwise, he appears perfectly normal. Shoranur kerala samajam Ayurveda hospital review
Hi All,

My son is less than 4 and has been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He is non-verbal. We are taking him for OT and ABA/speech therapy.

Meanwhile, I read about an Ayurvedic hospital called Kerala Samajam hospital in Shoranur. Has anyone gone there for treatment? Any reviews?

Hints for Nursing
Babies eat and eat and eat. Although nature has done a pretty good job of providing you and your baby with the right equipment, in the beginning it's almost guaranteed to be harder than you expected. From sore nipples to tough latch-ons, nursing can seem overwhelming.
