Hi, if anyone has used a maid agency and has had a good experience please share the number with me. This is in Mumbai. any tips on how to find a good maid for my five month old baby during day time.
Also what is the going rate for a maid who comes for about 12 hours during a day in mumbai dadar area. MADHAVI replied. Whether it is pune or Mumbai……if u don’t know a person, it is not advisable to keep them at your home……

It is always good to keep children at cresh as they get more exposure to the world, different people around, children to play and to compete.

As ur baby is 5 months, they may take little more money but after a year it can be reduced, but it will be much cheaper than the maid at home.

I know one family where they had one maid 16year old, who had an affair with one boy at STD booth(where she used to go to call her native place)……. one day she fainted the elder boy who was 11 year old called up mummy at office. When she came and took her to the hospital, they understood that she was pregnant and therefore she had begon…… she survived but these people really had tough time with the police and all.

wafia replied. My experience of a maid was very horrid. I changed my maids every 6 months but to no use. They were all robbers and theifs and one out of them only gave me more phone bills and more electricity bills, and over all my baby got a secluded environment with no friends only my maids age ladies as she was a gossip monger.
I tried creche believe me I felt paying creche was like peanuts no headaches some of my friends maid also had affairs in their own house.
Think about it, I am from pune. Here we have creche even for a 3 month baby.
