Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

I need a BIG HUG from all you wonderful ladies out there. I going through the 'when-will-this-get-over' days, i Guess. I have been married for 9 long years. We initially waited for 3 years and since then it has been a hellish journey with endless tests, sonographies (to monitor ovulation)IUIs and finally IVF last year. To add to my misery, all the three IVF cycles failed. I have had to undergo 4 surgeries in 6 years of various fertility treatments....and we spent close to 2 lakhs only on the IVF (i am in Hyderabad, India) and we got nothing except disappointments in return.
I am already 32 now and am slowly losing faith in everything - God, fate, doctors,good karma (i thought bad things didnt happen to good people)
My husband has lost interest in physical relationship ( he says - whats the point in having sex anyway if we are never going to have a baby?) he has no idea how rejected and lonely and guilty it makes me feel.
We have recently shifted here so i have no friends or relatives to talk to.....hope you girls are here for me...

I hope pari replied. have faith, dear...just hang on..things will surely get better. try taking a break from all this. i know its really taxing to keep trying to have a baby...i have seen sex go monotonous myself. im really sorry. A BIG HUG TO U.
my husband too had lost interest in sex. but last month he came to me himself..i really dont understand how that happened!
there is an end to every tunnel. relax. try getting a second opinion from some other clinic.

be positive .... and try to be happy and cheerful ....i am sure your hubby will also feel better then .. i know this is easier said than done .... but tbeing cheerful would do good for the relationship ....

-P Sunshine replied. Like Karish said, God is with us... He tests us to see how good a parent we will be.. HE is teaching us to appreciate our future and take the world, nature and GOD more seriously...
Just trust HIM, do good, think good and be good, and HE will go all out for you...
Our time will come soon. Your hubs is also frustrated... Give him time and understanding..and he will soon be able to give you the same. Talk about a positive future...

I can truly understand wht u and ur husband wud b going thru. Pls. dont b disheartened. Might b God has some different plans for u. Dont lose trust in him. He is our epitome of love, trust and all.

I know for sure that all of us in this board will sooner or later get off this board and wud see one another in the duedate board soooooooooooooooon

Pls. try to make ur husband understand that we have to do good Karma. He above will shower his choicest blessings before u even asking him to give any. I feel u shud keep doing good karma and shud not expect any rewards. The rewards will come to u even without u noticing the same.

U said you are from Hyderabad. Where r u put up now??

Belief in ur own self and in God is the best thing u can do since what is not meant to b urs will not be urs any day. So pls. try and stay positive and also tell ur husband to abide by you and b with you in happiness as well as sorrows. I know its easier said than done.

Anyways take care and keep in touch.
