I read your previous messages, can came to know that you have been tested for having cysts. My questions is, did you experienced irregular menses due to this before taking treatment? I read that the only symptom for cysts is irregular menses. Is it true? hopingfortejas replied. Hi Rekha ...

i am not an expert in BBT but i am guessing CD 15 ....

so my problem is i do not have a cyst ..i have polycystic ovarian syndrome ... this is different from having cysts ... in PCOS ..there are too many follicles trying to grow at the same time so there is no dominant follicle and hence no ovulation ...

i have had irregular periods ... tha was my only symptom ..some people hae other synmptoms also like excessive hair and obesity .. but i did not have this ....

PCOS can be caused due to hormone imbalance ..since there are many hormones which are in this process ... careful evaluation is required ... we found out i have high prolactin and male hormone and i am on treatment ..my gut feeling is that is improving ym cycle .. atleast i seem to be ovulating if not getting pregnant :)
