Medication Effect on Foetus:medication issue

doc told me that i am positive in my urine test. i have urine infection. is there any adverse effect on the baby when i use medication.
every night i am having a lot of abdomen pain. doc told me to go for ultra sound. but she did not call me about the results i think everything is normal. i am 9 weeks pregnant.
today nurse from docs oofice called me to say i have urine infection i believe thats the reason why i am having pain.

Get it treated

Many times the benefit to the mother outweighs any risk to baby. It is better to get the infection with antibiotics than allow it to get worse. The doc will prescribe antibiotics that are safe. So please take the currect and entire course. All the best to you.
