Hi girls
My parents went to apply sterday. Its manadatory to appear for interview if u dont fall under the DropBox Category mentioned in the websites.
THe interview slots are not available till end Aug or Sep. They got one in second week of Aug.
Its not too late but just that our mind will be thinking abt it constantly till they get the visa.
Hope everything goes fine.
Good Luck to ur parents too and tell them to schedule appointment RIGHT AWAY

Hi

My father-in-law is going to be 65 in first week of august, so both the parents will be eligible for drop-box then. I am just worried should i take their appointment for regular interview or wait till august. In delhi appointments are available in next 3-4 weeks. What do you guys suggest? I am too confused and not able to decide. I am scared if they change the rule again by then - like NO DROPBOX for senior citizens!!!

Good!So u r on time.Can u tell me did u're parents choose the interview slot?Or were they given it when they went&personally handed over the papers ?Was the interview date given immediately?
Gosh my mom has to yet get her passport,so just got to wait till then.

I dont think they will change the dropbox rules... My frends parents got 10yr Visa first time itself via dropbox.
I donno abt Delhi consulate.
Hi Manvi,
My parents went to apply, they were told they were not eligible for dropbox, both are under 60. They told them to schedule interview. My parents went online and scheduled the interview, those people dont schedule interviews we have to schedule.
Interview is not available till Aug/Sep
