Ritu sri replied. I moved to USA with my hubby when i was 4 month Pregnant and my mom came to US to look after me and my baby for his 1st 4 months.And once she was here my sis prepared Ragiceri and sent us from 1st day of his 4th month i started giving him Ragiceri and after ragi ceri he used to sleep for 2-2 1/2 hrs at a stretch and its best if babies sleep more in this age as they grow more while they are sleeping.There is a lady in INDIA and she prepares freshly only if someone ask her and then she prepares and courier to them.The whole procedure needs 10-15days to reach u Ragi ceri in India.Its 200 rs for 500m + shipping..in India itmay cost maximum at 250-270Rs.The half kg Ragi ceri u can use for 2 months.
If you are interested give your baby a healthier and home made Ragi ceri...search in Yahoo answers. Radhika replied. Hi ritu

Anu loves toast, toast with peanut butter, roti, mung dal whole +rice, oatmeal, rice with sambar/rasam, i give mango puree mixed with rice cereal.
Day care loves macncheese/mashed potato/chicken/fish/doughnuts/waffles/chicken crackers/pizza...does not eat well when they have tacos/ham salad :)

Loves chivda/sev/bhel(dry part)
Does not like eggs/idli..dosa if in good mood.

Anu can eat curd rice and moong dal almost everyday..she doesn't take as logn to eat. doesn't like confined to feedign chair..so give garam roti first..once thats done, then depending on how much she eats decide on the rice content.
Sitting in one place a big problem..have to have some fun games /books or barney/wiggles so she will sit. running around best bet is toast/roti.
Gerber, haven't given up on fruits blueberry/applesauce i give as sweet items ..just too watery for now so add rice cereal that way vitamins of it go in, still keep chicken & wild rice that emergency kit when she is just too cranky.
not sure of ideas...main challenge of mine being making her happy in one place. i use rice cereal as a thickner if curry added too much/fruit too watery is the best use..since its loaded with vitamins it does help
hope it helps,have tried all we eat..rejected quite a few,some depends on mood.

this is very helpful . When anoushkoo gets hungry she goes and sits in her chair which i have kept on the floor so she can sit herself easily .
