mango juice can be freezed. make sure to remove all the extra fiber, strain it thru mesh/strainer and make sure there is not water content in it. freezes well upto 5months, however for baby recommended freezing time is 3months dpending on the type of freezer you are having and its temperature level.
pour juice in icecubes upto 3/4th of the filling, and then cover with antifreeze plastic cover or bag,,once frozen, transfer to antifreeze ziplock or a good airtight freezer safe container,,writing the date, often helps..also this icecube is mostly of 1 oz in measure so you know how much you want to give and you wont waste all, when you defrost. after defrost, throw the leftover, never RE-FREEZE.
for defrosting, put the frozen mango juice icecubes in bowl and keep in refrigerator or defrost it instantly by putting that bowl in hot water vessel. its not advisable to defrost in microwave oven.before offering always give it a taste,,it dpends on mango freshness and its ripening stage as well, whether it wil stay that longer,,if the taste of the juice has changed, dont offer.
for other alternatives to relieve constipation, give spinach juice, pear juice, apple & prune juice.its ok to give that above 6months onwards,,,offer diluted.
goodluck
