Hi Dear Hetal...
Thanx for replying my mail

Fst of all i really have a word of appericiation for the way u have been helping people.thats really great

About my daughter,...Her height is around 32 inches and she weighs 9.8 Kgs.. Has just two lower teeth. Looks little thin only.

What she liked recently( Till around 10 days ago) was a bowl of dalia in bkfst with little sugar adde .& in lunch she was taking dalia with veggies in it... salty... ate it wid curd.No other option worked better for her.
Evening if she wants she wud have custard wid boiled apple ..

She wud hardly have all three meals a day.
I have tried her rice wid curd or dal...Banana.that she used to love as a small baby ..she hates i think even the smell.
Vegetable stew she liked only for two days in lunch.
Macroni she likes from the tiffin of my 7 yr old son(who never trouled me for eating as a baby though he never took a bottle).but that too she wud leave after muching 6-7 pieces.Khichdi is th thing she hates..

Only Lactogen 2 she likes taking 4-5 oz ...4-5 times a day.

Otherwise she is very active & all her development milestones were ahead of time.

Please help.

Anu

wat is her birth weight,,please refer to my post to smita about toddler growth weight. your baby is at 9.8 which is desired as per toddler index guideline.., the 10.5 my estimations is dpending on her birthweight of 3kgs..please note that.

i think i had asked you about your daughters details and i jst went thru your first post...i was about to reply there and saw your post here..
i am sorry to keep you awaitd...
nw about your daughter,,
14months,,her height looks good to me,weight is also good,,was expecting her to be 10.5kgs atleast,,some 700grams less is ok dokey,,but can be acheived...
looks thin mostly because she is tall..thats fine with me ! add in some fat foods to her diet that are rich in calcium and protein and not just fat..prefbly,multigrain pastas, multigrain cereals,,whole grain breads, pancakes, dosas,,cheese, bananna, raagi dosa, kheer, proteins like tofu, meat, fish, eggs, soya chunks, toor dal, channa dal, sprouted boiled moong with rice,,...some spices are said to increase apetite so start like turmeric, cumincorainder pwder, hing, italian seasonings or oregano, cilantro or parsley, curry leaves, crushed jeera in her khichdi, some sprinkle of ajwain seeds,a dash of cardamom in her custurds and fruits or curds,a sprinkle of cinnamon goes great with apples,,

try some tips from the ones i gave to rajesh.,,apart from that, since you have mentioned that your baby is very active and she has acheived all milestones on time,,i think she needs some variety in textures of the foods.
so try that,,she likes macroni so its pretty much obvious she will like all pasta foods,,offer pastas with vegies and give her that..try cooker style,,pastas come out verry mushy and soft, just right for babies at 1 year to eat and njoy...put a cooker, add in some oil,add in some small varieties of pastas (go wholegrain or multigrain),add in chopped pieces of vegetables, add in some light sprinkle of italian seasonings(they wont harm they will increase your baby apetite, dont worry),add in some salt, some cumin pwder(increases apetite), hing, some pieces of sweet vine ripes tomatoes(or ne sweet tomatoes, remove seeds),add in some tomato paste, and a piece of jaggery(if you are giving, i give because my baby makes noise with her teeth if ne sour thing is given),,or sugar watever you prefer,,you can avoid that as well, and put some good water, almost double to the amt of the whole mixture..and throw in some parmasean cheese if you are giving...and let it whistle upto 4-5times,,this makes very soft and wonderful pastas..let cooker do everything for you.
this is a whole meal,,the good thing is, you can prepare in advance, refrigerate it and stays out of fridge as well without ne worries,,considering that its winter time.goes great even if its not that warm enoughh...
add in some pastas to your vegetable stew..start offering her some spices, see if she is ready for that..sometimes kids do that, they stop eating baby foods and ask for table or family foods which is pretty much expected at 1 year onwards.
breakfast, there are many toddler cereals available in market,,they are good for health and have good flavours too,,try them out..
also things like mixvegie parathas, just some chopped pieces of vegetables,,curd with pince of cardamom,,rice-dal--someghee and some vegies in it might interest her,,add in some pastas if your baby likes it that way.
khichadi is boring thing,,make it interesting with chunks of tofu, paneer, vegetables, pastas, dried tofu or soya chunks, try to put different colours vegetables and let your baby peep in it,,sometimes looks as well matters..
also offer other varieties right from your meals,,just offer like you eat roti and subji,,roll a roti with curry nd give it a bite,,show expressions that you are njoying it,,and let your baby give it a try !
babies as old as 1 year onwards, like to do whatever adults do esp when it comes to eating new foods and trying them out.never mind if she doesnt like it,,but keep trying..you will come to know eventually what all she is accepting..
so know your baby that way and you will catch many things about her likings.
there are other foods like idlis, dosa, uttapam,so offer that if she likes it,,
as far as formula is concerned your baby should be drinking 4-5oz of formula 2-3times a day, dpending on her diet..try offering less milk or formula and add in more solids in diet..babies above 1 year are expected to eat than just drink..so try that, see if that is the cause of eating less.
also, 1year and above developmental stages like teething(gums start to swell for molars andpremolars even though all front teeth havent appeared),maturity physical change,,emotional changes at 1 year onwards--expect that,,and interest in activities other than eating and drinking is pretty much obvious..

other than these, i dont see nething why your baby is not eating,,sometimes they like to do fast,,so when they do that, try to check on their weight,,its ok if during that time they either are eating more or drinking more,,what matters they arent losing weight,,other than these,,nothin much can predicted unless some illness is going to strike that is causing her loss of apetite..which is really dont want to hear.
keep her well hydrated, offer her juices, babies above 1 year, are ready for cow milk,so introduce that,,ne formula designed upto 12months dont give enough nutrition for toddlers above 1year...so check on that..
vaccination sometimes causes lack of apetite,so wait and watch for ne other side effects..
so nothin much i see other than this,,your child looks healthy to me with a good growth..keep trying
Good Luck.

ne hard cheese is fine. if that is a slice cheese, what is written on it,,go for SHARP CHEDDAR OR COLBY JACK.
if in india, amul comes in sharp cheddar cheese and is free from animal fat or enzymes.,check the ingrediants to check for animal enzymes.
