Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

Hi Friends,
As I had posted on the board sometime back, I had my second IUI on 31st Jan and 8 dpo, had bleeding (light in nature) for two days. After Transvaginal sonography doctor had asked me to stop progestrone support. When I visited my doctor on 18th (2 days before expected periods), she suggested I might be pregnant as my endometrium lining is thick. Doctor has asked me to take HPT on 20th Feb (as my last period was on 20th Jan). I took test on 21st and now today, both came -ve. Today when I spoke to my doctor, she has suggested Deviry to get back my normal periods.
I am completely confused as my periods have always been very regular and till date I have never missed any. I have missed my periods by just 3 days and 5 days back she was suggesting that I might be pregnant. However I dont have any symptoms like sore breast or nausea, just that I feel hungry a lot and have pain sometime in lower abdomin( which could be due to endometriosis). I am still figuring out if I am imagining, but still I feel so much pregnant. I asked my doctor if I should get my blood test done, she said you would be wasting your time and effort as 2 -ve HPT confirms you are not pregnant.
I need support of you all ladies, please tell me what should I do? I am so depressed and dont want to take medicine right now...I was so happy in my virtual world for last few days, cant imagine to go through the same thing again with additional medicines for making my periods regular...Loosing faith in God now :-(

I know what u r going we are all sailing in same boat anu. Sometime even i wonder WHY only few of us have to go throuhg this. Some of them get baby so easily why not US. Anyways there is no answer for that, the answer is there is no go and GOD is there he will bless us also some day. We have to wait.

This waiting game is killing us. Hope is one thing which has to keep us going. Keep hopes and GOD will bless us one fine day.

Pls. dont lose hope. i have gone thru the same condition offlate. I had my IUI on 7th Feb. and on 21st feb had light spotting. i rushed to my doc and he said since i had late ovulation i shud come to him by 24th. on 22nd i got my AF and this time i feel it is very very heavy. Today i went to my doctor and he told me tht its a normal flow. I was scared and told him abt. the heavy flow. I was hoping it was not a miscarriage. He said its AF. So i heaved a sigh of relief. Doc has put me on Siphene 150 mg. I really feel it a torture to go the same phase again. Guess i shud cut my cry here!!!!!

I fully well sympathise with ur condition dear, Pls. dont lose hope. HE is watching us from heaven above!!!

Go ahead with ur medication. Everything has a right time and it will fall in the right place tooo!!!!

We will all get out from this board sooooooon!!! You and all others are in my prayers!!!

I have also been trying to concieve thru treatments and know how it feels when the reports are -ve. Your hopes and dreams come crashing down....and you lose faith in God, the doctors and yourself too. But dont give up, sweetheart. Keep telling yourself that tomorrow will be a new and better day - it will help you get thru this phase. Share your feelings with close friend or sister or write down your feelings if cant share with other people. It will help you a lot.
