We are planning for a baby and I' m really confused as to how can i concieve! I would like to know the right time to have an intercourse after my periods. I get my periods every 6th or 7th of the month.Please advice.

Hey Sherry..

You can have sex every alternate day from the time you start ovulating. The earlier you start once you are ovulating the better your conception chances are. Apparently sperm can last upto 48 hours once you´ ve had intercourse. However, you should ideally not extend it to more than every other day since the egg stays in the female body only for 24 hours after ovulation. Also if there is a chance of low sperm count, having sex every alternate day gives the male a chance to produce more sperm for the next intercourse. So good luck to you and lots of baby dust on you! :)

Thank you so much for the information.I´ m sorry to bug you again! Is it necessary to have intercourse everyday that is from 16th till the 27th?Also, for the last one week I have been having lots of curds and I have a bad gastric problem from one week.Is curds bad?
