Hi all,

i just wanted to know when hcg is actually found in a hpt ,after missing the period or before ,coz from last few days iam having some of the pregnancy symptoms like heavy breasts nd their tenderness nd i can also see the veins on them clearly nd headache feeling tired nd cramps in lower abdomin nd bachache.usually 2,3 days before my period i get the cramps in abdomin but this time its started early my period is due on 18th, always i have 28-30 day cycle nd this month i tested opk nd came +ve on my cd12 nd we tried at that time .
i took a hpt today nd it is -ve so my doubt is can it be wrong .
Hoping to hear from you all plz spend some time to answer my question iam waiting for yor reply.

I think the HPT will work only after you miss your period, they say that one of the first symptoms which can appear as early as 1 week after conception is darkening of the nipples.

I would say wait till you miss your period and try not t think about it as much as you can (i know that is difficult .... but :) ..

The other thing is if you do a pregnancy test with your doctor where they measure the quantity of HCG , i think that would be more accurate..however the doctors say you need to miss your period even to do that ...
