Hetal, I have read your comments to other mom. Thanks for your help!

I have a 7 month old son, he dislikes formula. He has only about 14 oz in 24 hrs. I give him wheat cereal morning and bed time with formula and veggies at lunch. He has no issues with solid. But formula, he does not want. He takes him an hour to finish 4 oz. I hve tried sippy, but no luck. Please help, I am really concerned.

wheat is not recommended in ne form to offer to babies below 9months,or 1 year to the best.. its heavy for your 7mnths old to digest it.and first of all not at all recommended..give rice cereal, give oatmeal cereal, give barley cereal or millet cereal, no way wheat !!!
there is no wonder why he has reduced milk or ne type of formula.
other thing is, if he ws a breastfeed baby, there are chances tht he doesnt like the taste of formula.try changing the brand of formula, bt the same type..like if you are giving formula with iron, give other brand of formula with iron only,,sometimes changing in brand makes a difference in your baby likings..
at 7months, its good that you have introduced sippy cup, but you cant expect your baby to drink from it. right now his tongue muscles are not strong enough to give that sucking power that he can drink ! he will take upto 9months or even 1 year to have a complete transition..however, keep offering sippy cup with juice and bmor formula.
for easier transition to formula, mix with your bm and formula with 50% ratio,,reduce the bm ratio and then slowly take the formula ratio to 100%,,,this will help your child develop taste or introduce taste of formula alongg with bm, and then its easier.
at 7months,your baby should be taking the following, just pasting you link of my post somewhere :

good luck

Thanks Hetal for your help. My son was bf only for couple of months. he was fine with this formula until he starting teething. He has his first tooth out. I will definitely stop the wheat. If that does not help, then I will change the formula brand.
