Hi all,
At the 9 month routine check up my son weighed 17.03 lbs and 27\"; in height.
(his birth weight was 4.08 lbs). doctor says his growth is steady but i want to know a second opinion.

He is being eating well, here's his routine -

around 6.45 am - 5 oz Formula
9:45 am - 4oz mashed fruit + 4 oz formula mixed
with oatmeal cereal
Lunch - 4 oz mashed veg. + 4 oz moong dal- rice
khichadi + 3 oz formula
3:45 pm - 5 oz formula mixed with oatmeal cereal
7:30 pm - 6 oz formula

he gleeps by 8.30 sometimes even at 8 pm. So I don't offer him cereal at night but offer his last bottle at 7.30/ 7:45 pm.
What else can I add or alter is diet to boost his growth?

hi there!
I have 9 months old daughter. I am giving her almost the same diet as you are giving.And on her 9 months checkup, my ped said she is overweight, means i am overfeeding her as she gained 3 and half pounds in 2 months.

but i am giving her a little more formula . She takes 24 ounces-29 ounces. Plus everything solid u mentioned. I give her
rice cereal in the morning(4-5 tblespoon).+ 5 ounces formula.
Noon: 2nds food fruit
+5 ounces formula
Lunch: Veg + Formula(5 ounces)

Dinner= Chichadhi+ 5 ounces Formula

She take Formula 2-3 times more between these diets mentioned above.
I would like to mention that i give her ENFAMIL LIPIL with IRON. As per her ped this formula has more fat than any other formula available in the stores.

i also want to mention that for 2 months i gave her veg mixed with cereal too. coz she was not liking the taste of some vegs.

i hop ethis info is enough so u can compare the diet i mentioned everything coz your son and my daughter are of same age. and where your son is having problem with less weight and my daughter is overweight acc to the doc.
but after reading your problem i am sure that i am not overfeeding my baby. she is having Vomitting problem as per her ped i might be overfeeding her i also wrote my problem in the mess board.I think the problem might be then \";not burping\"; after taking food.
