Hi everyone..
I had been taking birth control pills until August 2005. I stopped them to get pregnant. My doctor said it takes around two months to get regular periods after stopping them but I have been still having irregular periods. it takes sometimes 50 days and this time its more than 60 days and still i havent had my periods. i checked for pregnancy and it was negative too. I dont know whats going wrong. Is everything normal or is something seriously wrong? I am unable to check my ovalution days also because of this. Can i get pregnant under such circumstances and what should i do to regularizer my periods. Pls. somebody help me and sorry if i sound too ignorant, but i m really tense now.

I know this is a common problem.
Was your periods regular before taking the tabs? How long was your cycle? How long did you take the pills?
Don't stress yourself. If its your gynec who said it will take sometime....yes she is rite,Your body has to get adjusted now to the new changes. If for any reason your not satisfied with your gynec pls change and try to catch hold of a good Dr.
When you said you r trying for baby did she prescribe any prenatals? When you have spottings for a long time, try to have food which is rich in Iron content.Spinach really helps a lot:)
So if you feel you have waited a lot try to take a 2nd opinion.
Good Luck n Loads of babydust...

Thanks for replying...my period has never been regular...but it never got delayed so much. I used to get them maximum by 40 to 45 days... i took my pills for two years and my gynec prescribed it..she said it was the best pill in the market with negligble side effects and a few friends of mine have also taken it and got pregnant later when they wanted...my gynec didnt prescribe any prenatals...do u think i should ask for them? She is a very good experienced lady. Its almost five to six months now since i have been trying...does it take really that long? It seems i m losing my patience now...though i m trying to collect all tips and info from this message board...i want to try again but then i will have to wait for my periods first :(...

Thanks a lot...and loads and loads of babydust to u tooo...

Luv
