Hi Girls,
I wrote a situation that I was going thru a few days ago. My husband is wanting me to abort our baby because he has come to know that we are having another girl. Sick huh? We have been thru hell and back to even get pregnant. We've tried for about a yr to get pregnant. Finally, we went thru ivf to conceive, and now he wants this!!!! Anyway, I voiced my decision to him. He is soooooo mad at me. He has been treating me very rudely, and saying lots of demeaning remarks to me. I am still holding strong. I feel like my daughter and my unborn baby are suppoting me and I need no other support. I do sometimes feel sad. Just last week I went to my friend's house for a puja that they were having for their new baby. It was heart- warming to see that other fathers are so happy for a new baby. In my family they have always treated pregnant women like a god. But, in this family I am being treated like crap. I hate to say this, but I really wish that my husband and his family go to hell. They have given me such grief and pain. I feel like a very unfortunate woman. I have a horrible husband. The only thing that I have to live for is my daughter and unborn baby. And of course, my mom, dad, sister and brother. Thanks for listening.... I need to vent it out to someone. I feel like I'm going crazy... Karishma replied. Hi baby fairy,

What kind of a person is ur husband yaaar??? cant he understand tht he is doing a crime by killing an unborn child. Dont know how much this unborn will curse him.

Dont even think of giving away ur baby. Since ur hubby n fly r not bothered abt. u n ur baby, go ahead and show him tht u can rear them alone. I am just praying to God that he gives u courage to do so and also praying tht he changes his mind and returns to u as a new leaf.

This is really depressing to even think of the fact that ur husband is doing such a crime.

U take care and dont take unnecessary tension. Things will definitely work fine for u n ur baby. Whenever u look out for friends n Anytime you want, we will always b there for u.

I believe in wat sunshine says, A son is a son till he gets a wife, a daughter is a daughter for her entire life!!!!!

Dont worry, HE is looking there from the heaven above!!!!!

Sunshine replied. You and Pari and well, all of us on this board are amazing people! :) That' s the good news! Maybe that' s y God puts' us through so much. When I listen to stories like your' s I really have to thank God for the amazing family and in-laws he' s given me... I have to agree with Pari, BabyFairy, I too feel sorry for your (i don' t feel like saying husband, and am pretty close to call him something really rude!) Such people should be shot in the... It' s just really sad that in this day and age where we scream sexual equality that such narrow minded still exist! Such people can never appreciate God' s blessings to them!
Anyways, babes, you stay strong, firm and bold. Just hold on to you baby... I' m sure when your baby some into this world, they will not be able to shun her/ him.

i feel really sorry to hear that. ya i know wot its like to be treated bad by inlaws. and no, u r not the most unfortunate one...
when we were brought up, we were the absolute darlings of the family...and we r just not prepared to be ill treated by the family that we join.
actually i feel more sorry for ur inlaws, thinking of all the love and affection that they could have got from u had they treated u well. they are missing something real valuable. dont let this baby go. daughters are a blessing.
try talking to ur husband. take him to meet friends who have daughters. hopefully his views will change.
