iam 9 months pregnant and now hubby is leaving to us on h1-b visa.he might be there for 3years or so .now my problem is that i cant join him as iam pregnant and after the baby arrive i cant join him for atleast 1 year and even if hubby calls me,he says he will not be able to afford that much so he wants me to stay just for 6 months or so.the other problem is FIL,my MIL expired so FIL is alone and my hubby is papa' s boy he dont want to leave his father alone and he wants me to take care of him.he didnt say that but thats the only reason he dont want me to be with him and he said that he will call me and his father togther to us,is this possible?is he eligiable for the visa?as any other girl i also want to live my life with hubby alone as my relation with FIL is not good.hes very greedy.iam very depressed about this can any one help me with this problem? my FILwants htheir daughters to be happy with their husbands but when its comes to me their dont care this really hurts me.FIL is very happy his son is going to us bcoz now he can spend as much as he can and he belive his son will call him to us.this people are really very partial.what should i do now?i even had not asked my hubby about calling me there as now iam worried about my delivery.whenever some topic arise about this FILcut the topic.he say will see that and this people are not even issuing my passport their are saying 3 months after the child is born we will arrange for the passport so that even child name can be added. is it like that, only after 3 months we can make??help me pls???

but one thing i want to add ..i dont know wat is ur relationship with ur fil but he is alone i m not saying u also start staying alone becoz i know its difficult life without husband ..
just try looking things once from ur hubby(sons) eyes .
but yes indeed somethings are wrong like delaying of passport .ur hubby' s saying that he cant afford that much ..

and as soon as u get ur visa u can join him there with ur baby .

First of all be patient , let the baby be born. Are you going to your mothers place for the delivery? If yes then stay there as long as you can . After the babys birth your priorities are going to change. Your baby will need a lot of care and attention. So it would be wise to stay at your moms place. Fil can take care of himself. Also you can apply for your passport anytime now. Baby gets another separate passport.Or you can apply for your and babys passport as soon as baby is born, as soon as you get babys Birth certificate.Fil will have to apply for visitor visa and you will get an H4 visa, so will the baby. So once you go to USA, you can stay there as long as your husband stays in USA, whereas, your fil can stay at the most for 6 months at a time. So he will have to go back to India, but you can stay in USA.Once your husband sees the baby, he too will not want you to go back. So dont worry, everything will be alright, just have patience, its a big change for you, take care of you and the baby. All the Best.
