I am married for 6 years now and we live in U.S. My sister-in-law always wants money from us. When we call either she wants money for her or she will say do some jewels for her mother(my m-in-law).She herself is quite rich but always expects money from us. Sometimes she talks in phone for 2-3 hrs..imagine the pain we go through with her. My husband know she is doing wrong..but never let me tell any suggestion/comment about her. My husband is very good and my in-laws are okay too. But i cannot tolerate my S-i-law' s greedyness. Please advice! krushna replied. I dont know how these sisters can be so selfish. Let him deal with his sister.Sometimes it is better not to interfere in sister brother relations. Dont talk bad about her, after all she is his close sister . Someday he will realise how selfish she is and he too would have a tolerance point.Is she married? This will reduce after her marriage as her husband would not like she demanding things from her brother.Maybe your SIL has no idea that she is causing you both such nuisance. Try to give her a hint.Like say that things are so costly here, it is very difficult to earn money in USA and you have to save money ,etc.Say that you r postponing your own expenses due to financial stress. I think there are many ways you can avoid her by not answering her call for telling her the phone was on silent mode etc.

Or you can cant the discussion by saying that you have guest coming home need to cook or have some work home.

Start avoiding and instead she talking you only chit chat so much that she doesnt get a chance to speak.
