my daughter is one year 4 months old. Right now we r living with my parents in chennai.She started talking beautifully.Tell lot of tamil words and sentences.She also tells english words and understand simple commands in english. My husband got a offer with a good company in hyderabad and since we dont want to miss a good offer we accepted that and will be shifted to hyderabad next month.Both of us dont know hindi and telugu.I knew little bit hindi.The thing worrying me very much is that ..will my daughter' s talking ability will get affected due to language difference? will she get upset with new language around her ?will she manage to socialise?here she socialises very well with all neighbours and friends in tamil.she is very active and it wont be possible to takecare of her whole day by me alone .So i am thinking about leaving her in a daycare or playschool for 3 hrs . will she copeup language differences there?or will she feel left alone? anybody came across this situation and managed it well? pl help me.

hai

kids are sooo ooo adaptive. they will learn hindi and telegu before the parents learn.

i am also from tamil nadu...here come tamil.....got married to a kerala guy... here comes malayalam.... settled in bangalore... here comes kannada... the house owners are tulugu speeking...they teach hindi at school.... i guarantee you that kids do not get confused at all..they are so adaptive that they know which language to speek to whom.. eg my maid comes in they speek in tamil... when in kerala .. they speak malayalm... they understand telegu but give reply in english...

But all this while i used to give english the most importance as that can be used in any part of the world...

my kids are 7 and 5 years old.. now a days all kids are soo soo smart.. do not worry at all.
