hi everyone i have a 2and a half month old baby girl.im givin her an exclusive breast feedin but by the time she is 3mnths i wanna start with 2-3 top feeds/day.the problem is she is refusing to take the bottle i m tryin for the past 15 days.wat i do is i express breast milk in a bottle and try n giv it to her i got the best quality feedin nipple which is very soft bt still she is not cooperating.pls suggest me tips so that i start her on top feed frm the next month.pls advise..... sunshine1 replied. hi
Try different nipples.My son refuses first then after trying lot of nipple he takes well Dr.Brown nipple.So i use that with Playtex bottle.at 2.5 month he refuses level 1 nipple so gave level2nipple

My son also stopped bottled feed by 2 months.We tried a lot and then gave up . Even now some times when i try he doesnt drink but now he is 10 months and i have trained him to cup . But still i know how much problems i went through exp during travel etc.
My advice is keep trying . Have the father or others give the bottle . Cause when they give moms they remember the Breast feed. Also check if the milk flows too fast or slow etc.also try giving when baby is sleeping .
If you plan to get back to work , try weaning now itself.
