dear all
i am 12 weeks pregnanat and live in the US. I have been married for 4 yrs and have had several issues with my husband, and inlaws. My hubbie is a mama' s boy and does not like my family to visit, or to visit them in India. My IL' s live around 1 hour drive away.
I want to go to India for delivery as I feel most comfortable there. My husband is not very happy. I feel bad as I really need his support. My mother can come here, but hubbie does not like her and I am afraid to be stressed.
What should I do - i really want to go to India for a few months and feel comfortable for delivery and after care...

hi yaar,

ddunt stressout urself..even if ur husband iz not happy u need to think abt ur baby n ur postpartum care ..so dunt bother abt anything now n go to india..tell him seriously n firmly....take a gud decision soon...more u wait more u become stressed out.

Dear friend,

You are the best judge of your situations. Your happiness at this time holds utmost importance. Some decisions are beyond logic
YOu need to discuss this issue rigorously with your husband only . Either convince him or get convinced by him . ASk him why he wants your delivery to be happen here .Some issues to be discussed are :

1. If delivery happens to be in USA then who will take care of you after delivery n surely it shd be quality care .
2. How is your co-ordination with your MIL and your emotional state being with her for some time when she comes at your place?
3. Are you sure , you n your husband are not interested in US citizenship for child? or if u both r US citizen then no probs at all.

Calling your mother from India can hurt not only ur hubby' s ego but of inlaws as well. Medical facilities in USA are ultimate.
