Hello all,
We have been TTC for 7 months now with 2 cases of chemical pregnancies. My OBGYN performed blood tests and found that I have MTHFR . My obgyn felt that the chemical pregnancies I had in the past could be because of this. I am now being asked to take 1.6 mg of Folic acid (folgard tablets) + over the counter pre-natals every day.
Also since I get a very late + ovulation test result (after 20 days in my 32-33 day cycle) I have been asked to take progesterone after I ovulate.
Now here's the confusing part this month. This month I could not take the ovulation test consistently and so I think missed the LH surge.
My pre ovulation temps are always between 96.9 to 97.3. My temperature rose from 97.1 to 97.4 on Wednesday and again rose to 97.6 on Thursday. I was happy when I saw this thinking i must have ovulation on monday or tuesday. However this morning it should have risen to 97.8 or 98.00. That's what happened in last month's cycle. But instead today it was down to 97.3. I am very confused .....Did I ovulate or not yet.. . I am on day 26 of my 32-33 day cycle. I'm not sure whether I should start taking the progesterone. I heard if progesterone is taken before ovulation it causes prevents ovulation from occuring. So now I don't know what to do.
Please help.....
I think I'll wait and check tomorrow's (Saturday's) temperature. If it's high above 97.6 then I think I'll start the progesterone. Any suggestions ... please advise.

Recently on the board i read a reply to a quiry there they mentioned about not ovulating,itseems it happens once in a while where u are not ovulating.
so don't get tensed go to Dr n get it checked.
i dono much about progesterone,so some1 with that knowledge will answer it.
I won't belevie it,this month i feel I haven't ovulated.last mth i ovulated on 20th 1stday of my periods was 31st oct n this mth the body temp is constant 97.4hasn't raised at all.Have patience dear.we ll get there.
