I AM LOOKING FOR A JOB AFTER A BREAK OF ALMOST FOUR YEARS(LOOKING AFTER CHILDREN). I AM FROM COMPUTERS FIELD, THINGS CHANGE SO FAST WPRKWISE. I AM REALLY DOUBTFUL IF PEOPLE WILL CONSIDER MY RESUME AND CALL ME FOR INTERVIEWS.

HAS ANYONE OVER HERE UNDERGONE SUCH A SITUATION, DID YOU FACE ANY PROBLEMS IN JOB SEARCH? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME ?

Just felt like discussing with you. I am or probably will be in similar situation. My baby is 7 & half now, till date ihave a year's break. When do you think should I start hunting for job??

Thankyou for your replies. I have just started looking out and the response is not so encouraging. I stay in Bangalore, and although they say there are lots of jobs , poeple are not open enough to give a chance .

I faced a similar situation as I was trying to find a job after 3 years. I contacted a few consultants and in a month's time I had a offer letter in hand. Consultants are the best option in our case.

I am a mother of 4 years old son and I am working woman. I usually left home by 9 in morning and reach by 8 in evening.
I usually get quality time with my son on Sundays/holidays. But then as i reach home by 8 eve, I realy work hard to finish the work and food by 10 or 10:30 to make love with my son coz i love him very much after my husband.
