Trying since long:anyone has a similar experience?

Hi,
I have joined the forum last week - have been married for 6 years now, and we have been trying for the last 2 years. Have been through a laproscopy, where the doctor diagnosed cervical stenosis - closed mouth of uterus, then I underwent another surgery to get that opened, and then an HSG. HSG shows that right tube is blocked and left is open. In the last month, 'ovulation' happened in the left side (follicle became dominant in the left side) - we tried getting pregnant, but no luck. This month, it is the right side thats dominant - I am wondering, that if the right tube is blocked, how will the egg pass through? Does anyone have a similar experience?
Also, I have no clue what the next step would be? In the sense, how many months do we need to try like this, and what would be the further course of action! It is very difficult to lead an uncertain life - every month we hope, and we need to arrange our life around the 'ovulation' time! Everyone tells me that I should stop thinking about it, and then it will happen! But isnt it impossible to stop thinking about it?
Manisha.

We're all in the same boat out here luv, living month after month, week after week, in some cases, year after year, in uncertainity & hope & sometimes hopelessness & frustration.
Rightly said, it is impossible to avoid thinking about it. The idea is to educate yourself with what's happening within your body. And try to be as stress free as possible. So remember to enjoy all the good things in life at the same time. Be mentally & physically healthy. That's important.
And anytime u are low & tired of it all, or just need a shoulder to cry on, We're Here.
Much love,

We have been married for the last 12 years. We are trying for a baby but unfortunately every time it's disappointing. I had 3 abortion, 2 Ectopic pregnancy, 1 IUI failure and 2 IVF failures. I had septum in the uterus and got removed. Since I had a history of ectopic pregnancies, both my fallopian tubes are tied. Due to the poor ovarian reserve ... - Malini [View Message]
