For your reference, I wrote to you about my endometriosis and my options with regard to IUI/IVF. Here are more details

Q:Do you get in between period bleeding that puts you in trouble as to you have menses or not?
Ans: I dont have any bleeding between the periods, my cycle is 28 days and is about 4 days. My first day is quite painful, but is OK rest of the days.

Q: Do you have any abnormal feelings in routine life, fatigue, sweating, heat feelingd etc!
A: I dont have any abnormal feeling in normal routine other than fatigue which I thought was mostly due to my eating habits and office hours.

Q: what would be nice to know is how much of heavy endometrium did ultrasound estimated?

A: Ultrasound had just suspected endometriosis and than I got mY CA-125 done, value was 19.8 (almost 9 months back my CA-125 was 312, but docs did'nt read much into it). As per doc, endo was around Uterine cavity and both Ovaries were adherent which she separated, however it didn't reach anywhere near bowel or intestine etc. She had called it Moderate, however another doc said its towards severe.

Q: How do you know about ovulation otherwise?
A: As per ovlution, I had done thrice ultra sound monitoring as the egg had grown perfectly and ruptured at 22-24 mm as per my doctors. I also got my Progestrone blood test this cycle and expecting its results. I do feel slight pain during the days which doc said is due to ovlution, though can make out changes slightly in cervical mucous.

Q: Have you any idea if they are in OK after hysteroscopy?
A: As per the doc she had seen spill from both the tubes after my lapro(she showed us in CD) and Uterus is also normal. She doesnt suspect problems with tubes. will speak to her again.

While I understand having baby naturally doesnt look possible, But I had read experiences of many people who conceived naturally after lapro ...:-((
Archie, what I am worried about is the doc's opinion saying if I dont get IVF done at the earliest and waste time in IUI, endo might recur. While financially and emotionally I certainly want to try out IUI before thinking abt IVF, this opinion has confused us. Would sincerely appreciate your suggestions...

Also from last one months I am having all problems under the sky (infection in eye, blood in stool (doc said its Anal fissure), throat infection, frequent headache, vaginal infection with burning sensation ( this is fine now), apart from the stress factor which I am trying to reduce), I read somewhere about relationship of immunity and fertility, do u think thats relevant in this context.

You may have or may not have serious endometriosis. To me sounds not that dangerous stage.

Your tubes are fine and you ovulate as well gives some confidence that you have some chances of hitting success by IUI as well.

I am concerned however on following, eye infections are sometime treated with steroids and you won't want to get in to them while trying or during pregnancy and feeding.
your vaginal infection seemed UTI and good that its' not there. If you have vaginal infection or UTI it will add more difficulty to hit success by any procedures you apply to get pregnant. you should be free from infection in the path.

Immunity matters a lot. This is the way you will fight infection before hitting to you while you are pregnant. Your spouse immunity matters as well, it might indirectly affect sperm quality.

Remember there are cases who fails even by IVF and you should not get upset in case IUI fails.

try to be positive because your stress is not solution on your problem.

I knew one case who was idenfied with Endometriosis at severe extend, was offered IVF option. Before making mind she wanted to enjoy sex life, which she did for a month. She was on vacation and found lot of discomforts. She blamed Endomertriosis and went to hospital, obviously seen by another OB/GYN. She found that she was pregnant! Can you believe the joy she may have had when she found this before making mind on IVF.
