Hi,

Don't give gripe water 3 times a day.try to give once in a day mostly at early morning on empty stomach before feeding.i'm not adviced to give feenugreek seed water whatever u like to try just use externally not internally. since ur baby is just1 1/2 month old. please consult with pediatrician immediately.u may use castor oil apply on his stomach that too slightly. don't give anything inside without consulting Dr. becos fenugreek water too too cold for babies. so whatever may be consult with pediatrician. may be he may allergic to milk.or if hte climate is too hot then he'll 've a stomach cramps. so just consult with ped.

Subject:  He is Colic...

Hi Shweta,

He is colic. This is common in 9 out of 10 babies. My daughter had it too. I gave her OVAL drops, these drops are very good and relieve the baby from tummy pain in one minute. Please don't make it a habit of giving her any medicines, these drops have no negative impact and can be bought from any pharmcist. Specially in the evening put your son in your arms his face and stomach down, hands dangling, and rock him. Once I read in a magazine that in the evening the air pressure is high causing many babies with this tummy ache. The only remedy is he should pass Gas and for that it is best that you make him lie on his tummy, let him sleep like that but keep watching him so that he should not press his nose. My daughter used to sleep in my arms with her hands dangling, her face pressed on my hand and tummy hanging upside down. This will happen for another 2 or 3 months till he is on milk. The moment you will start solids or jucies or other things it will go.

Hope this helps.....Take care and give my love to him, I know when they are crying it can shake you from head to toe........Neetu

even my son had the same problem.I asked 2-3 paedetrician, but all of them suggested that as long as u r breastfeeding ur baby ,no treatment should be there for stomach problem.u burp him( by putting the baby on his stomach) after every feed.if he is burping well, there won't be any problem. If there is a major problem or baby is crying much, try giving him some digestive enzyme drops like peptine.but plz don't make this a habit.

Speech/language delay - 2.3 yr old boy
Hello Everyone

Our 28 months old boy is not speaking simple 2 or 3 word sentences yet. He speaks a few words such as mama, papa, aunty etc but definitely not more than 10. Also, he doesn't understand slightly longer sentences, even when we speak slowly and enact it such as "we'll go out after we eat". Otherwise, he appears perfectly normal. Shoranur kerala samajam Ayurveda hospital review
Hi All,

My son is less than 4 and has been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He is non-verbal. We are taking him for OT and ABA/speech therapy.

Meanwhile, I read about an Ayurvedic hospital called Kerala Samajam hospital in Shoranur. Has anyone gone there for treatment? Any reviews?

Hints for Nursing
Babies eat and eat and eat. Although nature has done a pretty good job of providing you and your baby with the right equipment, in the beginning it's almost guaranteed to be harder than you expected. From sore nipples to tough latch-ons, nursing can seem overwhelming.
