Does shaving off hair helps good regrowth in children's hair?

How about the Punjabi mommies? Do you think there are any advantages of not doing so?

thanks ahead.. Vikram replied. OK, Punjabi papa here. We got three recuts for our kid with gaps of about six and four months.
Our experience has been that hair density has improved while now she has much shorter hair. We don't care for that for we know length will automatically happen. its density we are concerned about. Overdoing hair cut, I am told is not good. It is my superstition that for good hair first get the ustra done a bit on a person with good hair (preferable one of parent) and then on kid. Also try applying surma on area of no growth. Seafood and coconut in diet may also help. There is one very effective technique known to Telugus, which I am not too sure about. They make oil using some red flower. Most effective thing, it helped my sis at age of 10.
