This is such a wonderful place to express many fears and news. I have a question. After 3 IVF attempts, I got pregnant in my 3rd attempt. Right now I am in 5.5 - 6 wk period. 3 days ago, the dr. examined me through sonogram as well as blood test and said everything is fine. He also showed 2 sacs in the sonogram. My question is so far the only symptoms I feel are, tummy has grown very fast. AFter I have food, I feel some discomfort for sometime, feel slightly like throwing up. But not strong. Also am able to eat everything. No other nausea as such. Since I got IVF I am on progesterone injections and prometrium. I do not know if anything attributes to the symptoms but if I read the books or the net I am not having symptoms by them. I have another appt in 5 days for the sonogram after 6 weeks. Hopefully everything is fine. I am praying and please pray for me. Please advise me if this is anything to worry about. Thanks.

Dear Rainbow,
Hearty congratulations on your successful IVF.
I am sure you are living in nineth cloud and why should not you be!

Listen sometime you want to throw in itself is a nausea and I think it's because of progestrone. Which you are supplemented and also expected to make more from here onwards. So don't worry.

There are many symptoms but some don't feel so don't let asymptomatic feelings make you feel afraid of.

Two sacs? Did you mean Twins? Then double congratulations.

I hope by the next visit you get to see fetal pole and if you are asked to visit within a week or two following to that you will have chance to hear heart rate of fetus.

you need to take complete bed rest because you are IVF person and want to make all positive and don't want to get in to some adventure.

Do give full stop for eating outs till you deliver baby(ies).

Eat healthy and drink plenty of fluids.

Why don't I see you on August 2006 expectant parents group. there you can share what you are going through or feeling and get concern sorted by others who are sailing same boat:)

Do not drink tea, do not eat eggs, avoid salad dressings and no myonnaissee.

Archie

We have been married for the last 12 years. We are trying for a baby but unfortunately every time it's disappointing. I had 3 abortion, 2 Ectopic pregnancy, 1 IUI failure and 2 IVF failures. I had septum in the uterus and got removed. Since I had a history of ectopic pregnancies, both my fallopian tubes are tied. Due to the poor ovarian reserve ... - Malini [View Message]
