Hi all Hope u r doing fine and so r ur little toddlers. Sheetal nice work with anushka's potty training. Mine with Savir is still in air. He is getting sick too often so I am not trying to put him in the potty. He still shows the toilet, if I ask him where should he do potty. That is all. Other than that he is doing in the diaper, the funniest part is I cannot make out from his face. Other thing is he does it 2 to 3 times a day and he doesn't have timings at all.
He too identifies A to Z. When we go out he tries to read all the alphabets. He tells A, O, R, H, E, I, M, C, Z. For other words he tries to tell but ends up telling in his language. But if we ask him which is J he shows. Likewise he shows all the alphabets. Numbers he knows 1 to 5, he is in the process of learning 6 to 10 but can identify 8. He knows heart shape and star. Slowly introducing colors and shapes.
From last week he started calling us mom and dad in our language, and tries to repeat what all we say. That is my update.
Still has to work on his potty training. One more thing is he has started crying for everything, if he wants something and if we don't give him immediately he rolls on the carpet and cries. He hasn't cried so far like this. One or two times he did hit us for not giving him. I don't know where he learnt this. We haven't hit him so far. I am feeling really scared these days. I realised raising a kid is not an easy job. The callenge begins......
Priya/Hetal hope u guys r doing fine. Priya as u said, Savir loves yogurt like Dylan. He can eat anything with yogurt.
Love to all the little ones take care.

Bhairavi replied. Hi Smile,
Nice to see Savir's update.. I think all the kids have now started showing some tantrums and I was wondering its only Nikku.. Sometimes when she cries just for attention.. I ignore her.. Also, she has become very demanding.. says 'woh chahiye' all the time and wants everything other than her toys to play.. Sometimes I give her, other times I explain her calmly and she understands..
Do you give Apple to Savir, coz that helped me make Nikku do potty from 2-3 times to once a day.. What I do is in a day, I give her one peach and 1/2-3/4 apple. That works for me.. Though am still working on potty training..
chalo bye for now,
take care,
Bhairavi.
Sheetal replied. HI Smile,
What is with these itsy bitsy babies throwing tantrums??? Anushka too, when she doesnt get wat she wants, she stomps her feet and goes around in circles. Its so funny but these kids are so stubborn.
Smile, even Anushka didnt have fixed timings. Wat i did was after i give her milk in the morning and cereal, I straight take her to the potty seat. Usually milk gives pressure and then i keep asking her to do poopoo. I had to wait like 15 minutes but now she knows wat to do. So this way, our mornings are usually fixed now.
Love to little Savir.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

HI Gayathri,
I used the puzzles, the wooden blocks for alphabets and numbers.... - Sheetal [View Message]
try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
